Assess motor speech, reading and memory with a standardized passageÂ
The Paragraph Reading and Recall Task (PRT) measures reading, motor speech and memory. Participants read a short passage aloud and later recall it, providing speech samples that can be analysed for acoustic and linguistic features.Â

Recommended use
In the Paragraph Reading and Recall Task, participants read a short paragraph aloud and are asked to remember it. After a delay, they recall as much of the paragraph as they can.Â
Because every participant reads the same words, the reading component isolates motor speech and fluency from language production, while the recall component measures episodic and verbal memory. Reading-only versions are also available.Â
